Dialogue on Green Urban Practices

Event Start Date:
9th March 2017
Event End Date:
11th March 2017
Event Venue:
Chennai

Indo-German Centre for Sustainability is organising an event related to the theme of social urban transformative initiatives. They will host the first “Indo-German Dialogue on Green Urban Practices: Social innovation and change agents towards sustainable lifestyles and consumption” on 9-11 March 2017. Participants will come from Germany and India. This will be an interactive workshop on two days applying a collaborative facilitation method (Collaboratory) designed to come up with an action-oriented way forward.

They are seeking participants from urban based citizens’ initiatives across India who are actively involved in urban farming, (organic) food, mobility, waste/recycling, composting, clothing, or any other activities related to the urban sustainability transition (we define ’urban’ in a very broad way, e.g. organic farming with a market in the cities).

Potential participants may contact them directly for an informal expression of interest, as they want to assemble a group of participants with a wide range of backgrounds.
