In this unmissable live conversation and Q&A, we will have the opportunity to engage with the world’s foremost climate campaigner, Bill McKibben. Bill founded 350.org and spearheaded the 2014 People’s Climate March, which brought more than a million people on to the streets in 162 countries to demand action on climate change.

The webinar will be hosted by Helena Norberg-Hodge, founder/director of Local Futures, and a pioneer of the worldwide localization movement.

We encourage you to bring questions! You can ask them during the event, or submit them in advance when you register. Come with an open mind as we explore one of the defining struggles of the 21st century.

And if you’d like to continue your dive into the world of climate activism, join the 2017 People’s Climate Movement on April 29th.

Global to Local Webinars are online events organized by Local Futures as part of the International Alliance for Localization (IAL) initiative. The webinars are free for IAL members. We request donations on a pay-what-you-can-afford basis for non-members.
